PSV Engineering Trainer – Bus & Coach Apprenticeship Tutor

About the role

Join a leading automotive apprenticeship provider as a PSV Engineering Trainer, delivering Bus & Coach mechanical and electrical apprenticeship programmes from a Metroline depot in Perivale, near Wembley. You will combine classroom theory with hands‑on workshop sessions, supporting apprentices as they develop industry‑ready skills.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Bus & Coach mechanical/electrical apprenticeship training.
• Provide a mix of classroom theory and practical workshop instruction.
• Support apprentices with modern vehicle systems, diagnostics and safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with a major employer partner in a satellite delivery environment.
• Bring technical content to life through demonstrations and learner engagement.

Required profile

• Strong background in Bus & Coach, PSV or Heavy Vehicle engineering.
• Excellent electrical knowledge and confidence working with modern vehicle systems.
• Understanding of safety standards, SRS and vehicle diagnostics.
• Teaching experience desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
