Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant (Full‑time)

About the role

This full‑time, term‑time position offers psychology graduates hands‑on experience supporting children and young people with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and social‑emotional needs in a specialist school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to students throughout the school day.
• Assist with classroom activities, personal care and communication development.
• Promote emotional wellbeing, independence and inclusive learning.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• Recent psychology graduate interested in clinical, educational or mental‑health careers.
• Passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
• Patient, resilient and eager to learn.
• Strong communicator who works well in a team.
• Essential: GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
