Psychology Teaching Assistant (Temp)

About the role

We are seeking psychology students or recent graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in schools across Bath. This temporary, term‑time position allows you to apply your academic knowledge while supporting pupils in a classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide dedicated support to individual pupils and assist the whole class.
• Help pupils progress academically and develop socially‑emotional skills.
• Collaborate with the classroom teacher and other staff to create an inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Assist with behaviour management and follow school safeguarding, health and safety policies.

Required profile

• Experience working with children (ideally in a sports or similar setting).
• Psychology degree or equivalent qualification, or currently studying towards one.
• Good organisational and communication abilities.
• Availability to work 08:30‑15:30 on weekdays during term‑time.
