About the role

Join a leading public law team in the heart of the City of London. As a Public Law Solicitor you will work on high‑profile civil liberties and judicial review matters for both legal‑aid and privately funded clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage judicial review cases against bodies such as the Home Office, HMRC, local authorities and the NHS.
• Obtain emergency orders and interim relief to prevent human‑rights violations.
• Pursue damages and follow‑up actions in County and High Courts, and progress matters to the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
• Collaborate with external firms on funding and case‑management issues.
• Maintain a high success rate and contribute to the firm’s award‑winning reputation.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with solid experience in public law, civil liberties and judicial review.
• Proven advocacy skills in County, High, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court proceedings.
• Ability to handle both legal‑aid and private work with a client‑focused approach.
