Pump Field Service Engineer

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established engineering business that specialises in the service, installation and maintenance of pump systems across commercial, water‑treatment, utilities and manufacturing sectors. The Pump Field Service Engineer will work independently across the South West, installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial pump equipment at customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and service centrifugal, submersible and positive displacement pumps.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults on‑site.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repairs.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers.
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Motivated, customer‑focused engineer with strong fault‑finding ability.
• Experience working on industrial or commercial pump systems in a field service environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills.
