Pump Service Engineer (Local Patch)

About the role

Join a well‑established supplier of major pump brands as a Pump Service Engineer covering a local patch in South East England. You will travel to customer sites to repair, service, install and replace water, sewage, heat and chiller pumps for commercial buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, service and install water, sewage, heat and chiller pumps on customer sites.
• Travel within the assigned local patch, following a 1‑in‑6‑weeks call‑out rota (Monday‑Friday, 8‑4, 42.5 hrs).
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide door‑to‑door service and respond to emergency call‑outs as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Service Engineer with a pump background.
• Ability to work independently and travel regularly to customer locations.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Pump repair, servicing and installation.
• Knowledge of water, sewage, heat and chiller pump systems.
• Familiarity with major brands such as Grundfos, Wilo, Xylem and Dab.

What we offer

• Salary £40,000‑£45,000 per year plus OTE up to £60,000.
