Purchasing Operations Lead

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised and analytical professional to join a global medical‑devices company in Witney as a Purchasing Operations Lead. You will be responsible for maintaining system integrity and rigorous governance across all procurement processes, supporting a sophisticated supply‑chain environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily procurement operational processes and ensure strict compliance with internal policies.
• Manage and enhance procurement systems, databases and digital tools to guarantee data accuracy.
• Produce performance reports and deliver actionable insights through spend and operational data analysis.
• Administer procurement agreements and coordinate the execution of commercial documentation.
• Act as primary point of contact, building strong relationships with Finance, Legal and internal stakeholders.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost process efficiency and procurement capability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement operations, supply‑chain or business administration.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience with business systems and reporting tools.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Professional procurement qualification (e.g., CIPS) is desirable.

What we offer

• Full‑time contract (37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday) for 12 months.
• Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience.
