Python Developer – Birmingham (Office Based)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to join a well‑established manufacturing business in Birmingham. The role is office‑based and offers the chance to own and enhance business‑critical applications, data platforms and system integrations while driving automation and AI initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, improve and support internal applications, APIs and business‑critical systems.
• Build and enhance data pipelines, cloud platforms and system integrations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability and performance of existing solutions.
• Deliver automation and AI‑driven improvements to streamline business processes.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Required profile

• Commercial experience developing software using Python and SQL.
• Proven ability to work on full‑stack or senior technology projects.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a hands‑on approach.
