Python Quant Developer – Trading Team

About the role

Join a leading global quant firm’s fast‑growing trading team in London. As a Python Quant Developer you will work closely with researchers and technologists to build, enhance and maintain the full stack of trading infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain execution, signal generation, model building and back‑testing systems.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers to translate ideas into production‑ready code.
• Handle data extraction, quant development, trading optimisation and software design challenges.
• Debug, profile and improve existing codebases to ensure high performance and reliability.

Required profile

• Strong Python development experience with a proven track record of delivering production code.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, including debugging and code comprehension.
• Self‑starter who can drive projects from inception to delivery independently.
• Minimum a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; not a fresh graduate.
• Bonus points for prior experience in the trading industry or C++ programming.
