Python Quantitative Developer – Global Quant Firm

About the role

This position sits in a cross‑asset team within the firm’s largest and most profitable trading group. You will work alongside researchers and technologists to build new research infrastructure and enhance the production systems that power the business.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement research infrastructure for quantitative strategies.
• Improve and maintain high‑performance production systems.
• Collaborate closely with researchers, traders and technology teams.
• Identify and solve complex technical problems to boost productivity and business growth.
• Contribute ideas related to sports and sports‑betting data where relevant.

Required profile

• Solid experience developing Python applications on large distributed systems.
• Strong Linux platform skills.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work with very large data sets.
• Interest in sports or sports‑betting is advantageous.
• Not a fresh graduate; proven professional experience required.
