QA Associate

About the role

Our client, a global manufacturer of finished pharmaceutical products, is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to join their Watford site. This full‑time, on‑site position offers the chance to work towards becoming a Registered Pharmacist (RP) while supporting batch release activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform batch release and prepare related documentation.
• Work to GDP/GMP standards and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with the Qualified Person (QP) on release matters.
• Maintain and develop the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Drive continuous improvement of the Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS).
• Raise, investigate and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
• Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in client site audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of QA experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Hands‑on batch release experience.
• Demonstrated experience working to GMP/GDP standards.
• BSc in a related scientific discipline.
