QA Automation & DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a QA Automation & DevSecOps Engineer to design, build and maintain automated quality assurance processes and integrate testing into secure DevSecOps pipelines for enterprise applications. The role will work closely with development, infrastructure, release management and business teams to deliver high-quality, compliant software releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test solutions using Eggplant Functional and Eggplant DAI.
• Create model-based, end-to-end, regression and integration test suites and execute cross-platform validation across web, desktop and integrated systems.
• Analyse test results, provide quality metrics and participate in test planning, defect triage and root-cause analysis.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or equivalents) and configure quality gates.
• Support continuous testing, shift-left practices and collaborate with release teams to improve delivery reliability.
• Govern artifact repositories with JFrog Artifactory, manage dependencies and package governance.
• Use JFrog Xray to assess vulnerability and license compliance, ensuring release readiness and controlled deployment workflows.

Required profile

• Eligibility for Security Check (SC) clearance or ability to obtain it.
• Based within reasonable commuting distance of Stevenage, UK, or willing to travel regularly to the site.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
