QA Manager – Food Manufacturing

About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced QA Manager to join a well‑established food manufacturing business with a long‑standing reputation for quality and innovation. The company supplies a wide range of food products to major retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers and food‑service customers, offering a stable environment where quality, food safety and continuous improvement are central.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the site’s Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, legality and authenticity standards.
• Lead the Quality Assurance and Hygiene teams.
• Report directly to the Technical Manager.
• Manage audits, non‑conformances and customer complaints.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a QA Manager or senior QA professional in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of BRCGS standards, HACCP, GMP and food safety systems.
• Experience leading quality and hygiene teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience handling audits, non‑conformances and customer complaints.
• Desirable: experience with rice, grains, pulses or dried foods; auditor qualification; familiarity with retailer standards.
