QC Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for a QC Surveyor to join our award‑winning digital risk management team. You will assess commercial and residential property risks for a diverse client base, including high‑net‑worth individuals and unique structures.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct desktop assessments, telephone consultations and on‑site visits across a wide range of property types.
• Analyse building construction, contents and associated perils to produce clear risk reports.
• Interpret insurance industry requirements and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate findings to internal teams and clients.

Required profile

• Qualified or experienced in construction, building surveying, quantity surveying, property management, insurance or risk management.
• Good knowledge of commercial and residential risk requirements.
• Strong IT, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Experience with building construction techniques, cost estimation and survey methods.
• High self‑motivation and ability to learn in‑house systems quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to convey findings concisely.
• Adaptability and keen analytical eye for critical details.
