QHSE Administrator – Engineering Manufacturing

About the role

The QHSE Administrator will support a growing engineering business by maintaining and improving quality, health, safety and environmental processes. You will work closely with the QHSE team, suppliers and internal departments to ensure compliance and promote a safe workplace.

Key responsibilities

• File, update and audit safety documents, risk assessments and QHSE records.
• Maintain approved supplier and contractor databases.
• Log accidents, hazards, near‑misses and non‑conformance reports in QHSE software.
• Compile statistical data for weekly or monthly KPI reporting.
• Assist in organising health and safety training, toolbox talks and new‑hire inductions.
• Manage ordering, distribution and stock levels of PPE.
• Support scheduling of internal and external audits and follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Schedule meetings, prepare presentations and take detailed minutes.

Required profile

• Experience in an administrative role within engineering or manufacturing, preferably with exposure to QHSE processes.
• Enthusiastic, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Organised with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communicating with staff at all levels.
• Willing to take ownership and learn quickly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
