QHSE Administrator

About the role

We are supporting a high‑end manufacturing company in Wallingford with the recruitment of a proactive QHSE Administrator. The role provides essential administrative support to the quality, health & safety and facilities functions, ensuring that processes run smoothly and compliance is maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the planner for preventive maintenance, calibration, inspections and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate routine servicing, inspections and arrange quotations and purchase requisitions.
• Support the creation and delivery of HSE training, toolbox talks and maintain related records.
• Conduct shop‑floor audits, inspections and record observations.
• Manage registers for lifting equipment, forklift trucks, assets and calibration.
• Maintain approved contractor records, RAMS, permits to work and insurance documentation.
• Assist the quality team with service calls, supplier returns and non‑conformity reports.
• Update the Health & Safety SharePoint site and document process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including minute‑taking.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
