QHSE Manager – Engineering & AS9100 Experience

About the role

We are seeking a QHSE Manager to lead quality and health & safety activities at our Broughton site, supporting Airbus contract requirements and coordinating with other Trescal locations and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage quality and H&S commitments in line with Airbus contract, ensuring QMS procedures are up‑to‑date and applied.
• Lead non‑conformance (NC) handling, root‑cause analysis, and closure actions, communicating regularly with the customer.
• Conduct accident investigations, report to customers and internal teams, and drive corrective actions.
• Oversee near‑miss and hazard reporting, risk assessments, method statements, COSHH, PUWER and DSE reviews.
• Plan and execute internal and external quality and H&S audits, support customer audits and accreditation processes.
• Maintain employee training records on the Quality Portal and manage e‑learning access.
• Provide advice on PPE selection and liaise with UK QHSE and technical teams on emerging issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a quality or health & safety role, including internal auditing.
• Familiarity with AS9100 / TS16949 environments; knowledge of ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 is a plus.
• Strong communication, organisational and IT skills, with attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel to other UK sites as needed.
