Qualified Bus Driver (PCV Category D)

About the role

Join Arriva London as a Qualified Bus Driver and help keep the capital moving. You will operate modern buses on scheduled routes, transporting passengers safely and reliably across Tottenham and the wider South East England area.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a bus on assigned routes, adhering to timetables and traffic regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting passengers with enquiries and ensuring a comfortable journey.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑journey safety checks on the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage and any incidents.
• Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to report delays or issues.

Required profile

• Valid PCV Category D licence.
• Age 18 or over with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Current London licence if you have worked for another London operator in the last six months.
• Pass a drug and alcohol screening.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, afternoons and evenings.
