Qualified Electrician – Social Housing (Bristol)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified electrician to join our dedicated Electrical Team supporting a leading social housing provider in Bristol and North Somerset. The role involves delivering high‑quality repairs, rewires, testing and installations across occupied and void residential properties, helping to improve homes and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out full and partial rewires in residential properties.
• Perform responsive electrical repairs and new installations.
• Produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in line with regulations.
• Work on both 230 V and 415 V systems, including energy‑efficient and carbon‑reducing technologies.
• Diagnose faults, carry out remedial work and ensure a right‑first‑time approach.
• Maintain compliance with the latest BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service while operating within a designated geographical area.

Required profile

• Recognised electrical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing).
• Current knowledge of BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
• Proven experience in rewires, repairs, testing and installations in residential settings.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
