Qualified Financial Controller – Fulham (12‑month FTC)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Financial Controller to join a global charity supporting children and young people. Based in Fulham, the role is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, working four days a week on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Chief Executive and founding partners to deliver accurate financial reporting and meet statutory obligations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, quarterly VAT returns and annual financial statements.
• Maintain tax compliance, including year‑end tax filings.
• Lead external audits and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Develop and maintain finance systems, providing modelling and analysis for strategic decisions.
• Produce reports for the Board of Trustees and support Finance sub‑committee meetings.

Required profile

• At least five years of experience in a similar finance role, including statutory audit and management accounting.
• International experience, preferably with UK or Hong Kong operations.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with post‑qualification experience.
• Ability to work with agility in a fast‑moving charitable environment.
