About the role
We are recruiting a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Medway on a full‑time, long‑term basis. The role offers the chance to support teaching and learning across the primary age range and may become permanent after 12 weeks for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
- Support teaching and learning both inside and outside the classroom.
- Work closely with teachers to raise pupil attainment and engagement.
- Provide targeted interventions and support to individuals and small groups.
- Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider school community and support pupils' educational development.
Required profile
- Hold a recognised HLTA qualification.
- Previous experience in a UK primary school setting.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Committed, reliable and passionate about supporting children’s learning.
- Up‑to‑date CV outlining recent education experience.
