Qualified Management Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Management Accountant to join our finance team in Addlestone. The role will support monthly management accounts, financial reporting and audit processes for Schindler UK & Ireland. You will work closely with finance stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash‑flow reporting.
• Manage accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyse monthly overhead performance and provide insight and commentary.
• Manage intercompany recharges, reconciliations and reporting across the Group.
• Support quarterly, half‑year and year‑end reporting, including IFRS16 lease accounting.
• Oversee accounts payable activities, ensuring accurate invoice processing and payments.
• Assist internal and external audits, maintaining strong controls and documentation.
• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders, providing treasury and financial accounting support as needed.

Required profile

• Proven management accounting experience in a fast‑paced finance environment.
• Strong understanding of month‑end processes, reconciliations, journals, accruals and financial reporting.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a finance role with solid accounting fundamentals.
• Analytical, organised and detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a collaborative team.
• Fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Experience coaching or mentoring junior team members (beneficial).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• SAP (experience highly regarded).
• IFRS16 lease accounting.
