Qualified Maths Teacher – Chester (Full‑time Temporary)

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Mathematics teacher to join a high‑performing secondary school in Chester for the September start. The role is full‑time on a temporary basis, covering key areas of the humanities and STEM departments across the CH1‑CH4 catchment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, real‑world mathematics lessons that align with the UK National Curriculum.
- Plan and differentiate instruction to support diverse learner needs and prepare students for GCSE examinations.
- Create a supportive classroom environment where every pupil feels heard and motivated.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and fellow staff to enhance interactive learning.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS); early‑career teachers are welcome.
- Strong knowledge of the UK Mathematics curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Required skills
- Mathematics subject knowledge (UK National Curriculum).
