Qualified Nursery Practitioner – Level 3 (Crawley)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) to join a Good‑rated nursery in Crawley. The role involves delivering high‑quality early years education and care for children, ensuring compliance with the Childcare Act, health and safety legislation, and Ofsted standards. The position is permanent with an immediate start and offers flexible working options.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Create a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children throughout the day.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, communicating children’s progress regularly.
• Maintain accurate records of each child’s development and attendance.
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 Child Care qualification.
• Minimum one year of experience in a day‑nursery setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS guidance and Ofsted standards.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and health & safety regulations.
