Qualified Nursery Practitioner – Level 3

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) to join our vibrant early years team in Manchester. You will deliver high‑quality care and education, creating a nurturing environment that supports each child’s development and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver engaging EYFS‑aligned activities.
• Supervise daily routines including play, meals, rest and hygiene.
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment at all times.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Monitor and record children’s progress, behaviour and milestones.
• Lead and mentor junior staff, ensuring policy compliance.
• Collaborate on personalised care plans for individual children.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as planning documentation and parent communication.

Required profile

• Recognised childcare qualification (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong leadership and team‑guiding abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Passion for supporting children’s development.
• Knowledge of current childcare legislation and best practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively while showing initiative.
