Qualified Pharmacy Dispenser – Community Pharmacy

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and forward‑thinking qualified Pharmacy Dispenser to join our independent family‑run community pharmacy in Netherfield, Nottingham. The role supports growing prescription volumes and aims to deliver excellent patient care while developing our pharmacy services.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense NHS and private prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide high‑quality customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and day‑to‑day pharmacy operations.
• Support the promotion of pharmacy services and health‑promotion activities.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and professional standards.
• Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting or a qualified NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Dispenser (or higher).
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care.
• Right to work in the UK; no sponsorship available.

Required skills

• NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Dispenser (or higher) qualification.
