Qualified Plumber – Permanent, Full‑Time in Milton Keynes

About the role

Amplius is seeking a qualified plumber to join its South East England team. You will deliver high‑quality plumbing repairs and maintenance across customers’ homes, communal areas and empty properties on a permanent, full‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of plumbing repairs including leaks, blockages, taps, valves, sanitary fittings and pipework.
• Diagnose faults accurately and aim for first‑time fixes.
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety, water regulations and internal standards.
• Record job details, materials used and outcomes using mobile technology.
• Collaborate with other trades for multi‑skilled repairs and manage tools, equipment and stock responsibly.
• Participate in a 24‑hour standby rota when required.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in domestic plumbing repairs in occupied or empty homes.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the Milton Keynes area.
• Ability to pass a DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.

Required skills

• Plumbing repairs (leak detection, blockage removal, tap and valve installation).
• Pipework installation and maintenance.
• Water system diagnostics and understanding of water regulations.
• Use of mobile devices for job recording.
