Qualified Practice Accountant (ICAEW/ACCA) – £50-75k

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Practice Accountant to join our growing team in South East England. This permanent, full‑time position offers a competitive salary of £50‑75k and the chance to develop your audit and accounting expertise within an owner‑managed business environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver audit and accounts assignments under the guidance of partners.
• Prepare statutory company accounts, VAT returns and management accounts.
• Supervise and review the work of junior staff.
• Maintain effective client communication and meet deadlines.
• Assist in budgeting and monitoring actuals against budgets.

Required profile

• ACCA or ICAEW qualified with 3‑10 years’ in‑practice experience.
• Familiarity with UK financial reporting standards and statutory audit.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
