Qualified Residential Conveyancer

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of an established solicitors’ firm that is launching a new Manchester branch. The firm seeks an experienced, qualified Conveyancer to manage a residential conveyancing portfolio and deliver outstanding client service.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to post‑completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, new builds and shared‑ownership transactions.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and fellow solicitors.
• Draft and review contracts and other legal documentation.
• Maintain accurate case records and meet completion deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and AML requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified Conveyancer (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, CILEX or equivalent).
• Proven residential conveyancing experience.
• Ability to manage files independently and work effectively within a growing team.
• Excellent communication and client‑care abilities.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
