Qualified Secondary Teacher – General Cover (Daily Rate)

About the role

Spencer Clarke Group is seeking a Qualified Secondary Teacher (QTS) to provide general cover across a range of classrooms. You will ensure continuity of learning when regular teachers are absent, delivering lessons to diverse year groups and subjects.

Key responsibilities

• Step into various secondary classrooms on a daily basis to deliver planned lessons.
• Maintain the flow of teaching and learning in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Adapt lesson delivery to suit different subjects, year groups and student needs.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with school staff to align with curriculum objectives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Expertise in any secondary subject area.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Flexibility to work in varied teaching environments.
• Commitment to student success and safeguarding procedures.
