About the role

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join the Children in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) team at Hillingdon Council. The role involves delivering high‑quality support to vulnerable children and families, working closely with partner agencies to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

Assess the needs of children in need and those at risk of harm.
Develop and implement care and protection plans in line with statutory guidance.
Collaborate with multi‑agency partners, including health, education and police services.
Maintain accurate case records and produce required reports.
Provide advice and support to families, fostering positive outcomes.

Required profile

Qualified Social Worker (registered with appropriate professional body).
Experience working with CIN and CP cases.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding policies.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
