Qualified Social Worker – Court Team

About the role

Our client, Northamptonshire's Children’s Trust, is seeking a qualified social worker to join its dedicated Court team. You will manage a caseload of court‑related proceedings, providing assessments, reports and statements that support children in care.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of court proceedings for children in care.
• Prepare assessments, court reports and statutory statements.
• Undertake statutory visits and case‑holding duties.
• Attend court hearings, Children in Care (CIC) reviews and conduct necessary visits.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with legal and safeguarding requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified Social Worker with current registration.
• Experience working with children in care and court processes.
• Willingness to register with Remedy for locum assignments.
• Successful completion of an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
• Commitment to safeguarding vulnerable individuals.
