About the role

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join the Family Help Team within Cheshire West Council, supporting physical disability and older people services. This full‑time contractor position offers a rate of £38.99 per hour and involves safeguarding and supporting children and vulnerable adults.

Key responsibilities

Assess, identify and plan interventions to enable children and adults to thrive.
Develop, implement and coordinate care plans that meet assessed needs.
Provide social work services that safeguard and support children and vulnerable adults.
Collaborate with multi‑agency partners to ensure holistic support.

Required profile

Qualified Social Worker with experience in physical disability and older‑people services.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures for children and vulnerable adults.
Ability to assess needs, develop plans and coordinate delivery of services.
