Qualified Social Worker – Family Support (North)

About the role
Our client, Milton Keynes Council, is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join the Family Support North team. You will work directly with families in the north of Milton Keynes, providing professional support and safeguarding vulnerable individuals.
Key responsibilities
- Assess the needs of families and develop tailored support plans.
- Conduct home visits, risk assessments and intervene where necessary.
- Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams, health services and external agencies.
- Maintain accurate case records and produce required reports.
- Ensure compliance with council policies and statutory regulations.
Required profile
- Qualified Social Worker registration with the HCPC.
- Experience working with families and vulnerable adults or children.
- Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
- Commitment to equality, diversity and safeguarding principles.
