About the role
Our client, Lincolnshire County Council, is seeking a qualified social worker to join the FAST (Family Assessment and Support Team) delivering statutory social work for children in need, protection and care. The role involves high‑quality case work, safeguarding leadership and multi‑agency collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct Section 47 enquiries and comprehensive Child and Family Assessments.
- Manage risk using evidence‑based approaches such as Signs of Safety.
- Lead safeguarding processes and contribute to multi‑agency planning.
- Produce clear analytical and court reports and ensure accurate, timely record‑keeping.
- Work on‑site for five days during the duty week (every third week) with hybrid flexibility on non‑duty weeks.
Required profile
- Qualified social worker with experience in the FAST team or similar statutory settings.
- Demonstrated ability to make confident decisions and improve outcomes for children and families.
- Commitment to safeguarding, multi‑agency collaboration and evidence‑based practice.
- Willingness to register with Remedy and undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure.
