Qualified Social Worker – Front‑line (Lincolnshire)

About the role

Our client, Lincolnshire County Council, is seeking a qualified social worker to join a front‑line team that supports children and families from referral through Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP) and care proceedings. The role is based in Louth, a rural area in the Lincolnshire Wolds, and offers on‑site free parking.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive child and family assessments.
• Collaborate with partner agencies such as Family Help, Family Group Decision Making and health services.
• Manage cases within CIN and CP frameworks.
• Handle private and public law proceedings.
• Work on a three‑weekly duty rota – one week on‑duty (office‑based with new case allocation) followed by two weeks off‑duty.

Required profile

• Qualified social worker registration.
• Proven experience managing children in CIN and CP contexts.
• Experience with private and public law child care proceedings.
• Willingness to register with Remedy for locum positions and undergo an enhanced DBS check.
