About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Spanish teacher to join a well‑established secondary school in Newham. The role starts in September 2026 and is full‑time, initially on a temp‑to‑perm basis.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Spanish lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils.
- Plan, assess and grade student work in line with the school’s curriculum.
- Maintain strong classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with existing staff to support whole‑school initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Spanish at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Excellent organisational skills for assessment and grading.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a teaching team.
