Qualified Tutor (QTS) – Part‑time, Bromley

About the role

We are seeking a qualified teacher (QTS) to provide one‑to‑one tutoring for a young learner in Bromley. The role is part‑time (10 hours per week), term‑time only, and involves supporting both academic progress and emotional wellbeing in school and home settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a tailored curriculum in collaboration with the pupil’s teachers and support staff.
• Provide tutoring sessions at school or at the pupil’s home, adapting content to the student’s pace.
• Monitor behaviour, build trust and create a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Identify and respond to sensory or emotional challenges, promoting regulation and independence.
• Maintain regular communication with parents, teachers and other professionals, offering feedback and updates.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and own transport to Bromley.
• Experience working with autistic children or young people with additional needs.
• Flexibility to adjust support methods and availability Monday‑Friday.
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and external professionals.

• Effective communication with children, parents and professionals.
