Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Morson Edge is looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Operations team in Burnley. You will help deliver high‑quality products on time, meeting customer expectations and strict regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Operations team in meeting product delivery schedules and quality standards.
• Analyse data and perform root‑cause analysis to reduce customer escapes and concessions.
• Maintain compliance with internal processes, customer requirements and regulations such as ESAA Part 21, EN 9100 and NADCAP.
• Prepare for and contribute to external audits, schedule product and process audits, and manage corrective actions.
• Develop and lead plans to prevent customer escapes, reduce concessions, and lower non‑quality costs.
• Apply quality tools (PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 8D, SPC) and support colleagues in their use.

Required profile

• Engineering degree, HNC or equivalent experience.
• Experience in quality assurance within a technical or manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems and deliver improvement projects.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of French is beneficial but not essential.
