Quality Assurance Manager (QA Manager)

About the role

The Quality Assurance Manager will support a leading defence manufacturer at its Crawley site, reporting to the Business Quality Manager. The role ensures that projects, bids and products meet cost‑effective and efficient quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute QA plans and surveillance activities.
• Conduct internal and external audits.
• Participate in project meetings, reviews, milestones and events.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and partners for quality assurance.
• Provide QA expertise and guidance across manufacturing, software, hardware, systems or engineering assurance.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, defect investigation and drive process improvement.
• Implement preventative actions and manage quality processes.
• Occasional travel as required.
