Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join our busy manufacturing and warehouse operation in Folkestone. This role offers the chance to work in a regulated environment, ensuring that products are produced and distributed to the highest quality standards while supporting GMP compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Promote GMP and quality standards across manufacturing and warehouse activities.
• Carry out QA activities that support production and distribution processes.
• Inspect, sample and approve incoming materials and packaging.
• Review batch records and assist with product release decisions.
• Investigate deviations, non‑conformances and implement CAPAs.
• Maintain accurate GMP and quality documentation.
• Support shop‑floor compliance through audits, checks and training.
• Assist with complaints investigations and root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, R&D and other teams.
• Contribute to KPI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in a QA or quality role, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of GMP standards; exposure to ISO 22716 or ISO 13485 is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proactive, adaptable and self‑motivated.
