Quality Auditor – Night Shift (Mon‑Thu)

About the role

The Quality Auditor will work night shifts (Monday to Thursday) to ensure that products meet specification and that the highest standards of food safety are maintained. You will coach production staff, support the Quality Manager, and help develop quality and technical systems at the Albert Bartlett Westwick site.

Key responsibilities

• Audit production processes to verify product specifications and food safety standards.
• Coach and share expertise with production team members.
• Assist the Quality Manager in developing and maintaining quality and technical systems.
• Ensure compliance with Albert Bartlett quality and safety systems, HACCP, and audit procedures.
• Manage BRC and external customer audits, including closing out non‑conformances.
• Conduct Q Hold reviews and maintain data management within the ERP system.
• Support testing programmes to uphold QMS, TACCP, HACCP, and traceability requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in quality assurance, quality control, food safety, environmental standards or organics.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a food production environment.
• Awareness of the importance of food safety.
• Internal Auditor training (desirable).
• Strong planning, organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, set priorities and collaborate with production colleagues.
