Quality Control Analyst – Pharmaceutical

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join an established pharmaceutical manufacturer in Sandwich. The role is full‑time permanent, 37.5 hours per week, based on‑site in a GMP‑compliant laboratory.

Key responsibilities

• Support Production and QA teams to ensure manufacturing processes meet regulatory and GMP standards.
• Perform physical and analytical testing of APIs, including HPLC and GC analyses.
• Record and report microbiological and analytical results accurately within data packages.
• Execute laboratory protocols, maintain equipment suitability, and uphold laboratory housekeeping standards.
• Document all activities in line with internal methodologies and GMP requirements.

Required profile

• BSc (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Forensics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a QC laboratory, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Demonstrated experience working in a GMP environment.
• Attention to detail, ability to prioritise workload and a flexible, positive attitude.
• Must reside locally in Sandwich/Kent and have unrestricted right to work in the UK.

Required skills

• Proficiency with High‑Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
• Proficiency with Gas Chromatography (GC).
