Quality Control Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Operate CMM equipment to inspect components against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Carry out dimensional inspections, product testing and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to verify product conformity.
• Produce accurate inspection reports and document quality findings.
• Identify non‑conformances, support root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained according to company procedures.
• Support compliance with quality standards, customer requirements and audit processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience operating CMM measuring equipment.
• Background in quality inspection and testing within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality.
• Experience producing inspection reports and documenting findings.
• Ability to commute daily to Bromley/Beckenham.
