Quality Control Inspector

About the role

The Quality Control Inspector (Intake Auditor) ensures that products sold by our online department store meet the highest quality, safety and regulatory standards. Working within the Responsible Sourcing and Product Operations team, you will conduct inspections and audits on incoming merchandise and support continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Perform post‑shipment inspections and targeted audits based on returns analysis and customer complaints.
• Identify, document and report defects, inconsistencies or deviations from established quality standards.
• Record inspection results accurately in designated systems and generate detailed reports.
• Verify that products comply with industry regulations, safety guidelines and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with production, design and sourcing teams to resolve quality issues and provide feedback.
• Assist in root‑cause analysis and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Participate in training programmes to enhance inspection skills and stay current with quality‑control best practices.
