Quality Control Laboratory Analyst – GMP/GLP (Contract)

About the role

This 12‑month contract position supports a large pharmaceutical company by performing analytical quality control on raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products. The role operates within GMP and GLP environments and follows a rotating shift pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine particle size analysis using Malvern Mastersizers and Sympatec instruments.
• Perform cleaning verification via HPLC and identification testing with FTIR and Raman spectroscopy.
• Develop, validate, and optimise analytical methods, including particle size, cleanability, and moisture content (Karl Fischer).
• Execute DSC, light microscopy, SEM, and pharmacopoeial analyses.
• Participate in CAPA investigations, deviation handling, and document control activities.
• Support technology transfer and method transfer projects.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline.
• Hands‑on experience in wet chemistry and analytical techniques within the pharmaceutical or related industry.
• Ability to work in clean‑room conditions (clean‑shaven, no makeup, false eyelashes, or nail varnish).
• Flexibility to work rotating early, late, and night shifts.
