Quality Control Technician – Manufacturing (Didcot)

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Control Technician to join a manufacturing team on the Harwell Campus near Didcot. The role starts in July/August on a long‑term temporary contract with the potential to become permanent. Working hours are 6 am‑2 pm, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Test incoming, in‑process and outgoing materials and report any non‑conformances.
• Document test results and provide feedback to production and supply teams.
• Identify subtle differences and trends, contributing to solutions that maintain the highest quality standards.
• Enter data promptly to enable rapid and accurate quality and production queries.

Required profile

• Ability to work collaboratively in a small team of 3‑4 QC technicians.
• Strong time‑management skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Capability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to undergo full training.
