Quality Controller

About the role

Kepak is seeking a Quality Controller to join its beef processing facility in St. Merryn, Bodmin. You will work at the Critical Control Point (CCP) stand, ensuring that every stage of production complies with food safety standards and delivers the high‑quality beef products the company is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect all aspects of the production process to ensure compliance with CCP standards.
• Conduct regular checks and tests to verify that products meet required specifications and quality benchmarks.
• Identify and address quality issues or defects promptly.
• Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of quality problems.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality‑related concerns and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a quality control role, preferably within a food production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible, proactive approach with capacity to adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP principles.
• Understanding of CCP standards and food safety regulations.
• Strong analytical and detail‑orientation skills.
