Quality Delivery Manager

About the role

Willmott Dixon is seeking a Quality Delivery Manager to support its North business across Yorkshire and the North East. You will work regionally, visiting live construction sites, helping project teams embed robust quality standards and reduce defects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous development of the Quality Delivery approach across multiple projects.
• Organise, conduct and report on Quality Delivery audits, ensuring follow‑up actions are completed.
• Encourage project teams to adopt quality procedures and address key quality priorities.
• Identify common quality issues, risks and learning opportunities across the region.
• Share best practice, lessons learned and practical guidance with wider business units.
• Provide technical support and develop quality reference material for project teams.
• Raise awareness and positively influence attitudes towards quality throughout the region.
• Support training, coaching and knowledge‑sharing initiatives on site.
• Use data and project feedback to drive continuous improvement and reduce defects year on year.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of construction delivery, methods, buildability and site operations.
• Demonstrated passion for improving quality and reducing defects.
• Confidence to walk sites, ask probing questions and assess compliance with standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
