Quality Engineer – Materials Testing & Laboratory

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to lead our Materials Testing Laboratory. The successful candidate will ensure the quality of polymer components used in aerospace, defence, energy and advanced engineering applications through rigorous testing and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and manage the Materials Testing Laboratory, overseeing all testing activities.
• Perform tensile, hardness, density, elongation and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) tests on raw materials, work‑in‑progress parts and finished products.
• Prepare test specimens and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Control calibration schedules and keep accurate laboratory records.
• Support root‑cause investigations and drive continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Experience in quality, laboratory or materials‑testing environments, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
• Interest or background in materials science, polymer science, engineering or chemistry.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to team‑based improvement initiatives.
